Second floor corner unit: no noises from the floor above or one side wall, and much better breezes – cross ventilation works on the second floor. The kitchen has a serving bar into the dining area that doubles as a breakfast bar for those really convenient meals. The dining area table seats 6 and can easily be expanded to 8. Everything is within easy reach in this kitchen, and the full height backsplash keeps spills/spatters from staining any drywall. The oak kitchen cabinets are a complement to the light colored countertop. And, the pantry closet is right in this kitchen. The master bedroom’s 8’ closet has as much hanging space as many walk-in closets, and its sliding glass door to the lanai and side window supply lots of natural light and cross ventilation in our cooler months. Bedroom #2 has windows on 2 sides for extra light and ventilation. These are big advantages that end units have over interior units. Having 2 bathrooms is great when guests are staying and if the owners don’t wish to share. The balcony/lanai is really a Florida room, so it can be used during our colder days. The storage room that is accessed from the lanai is an exceptional feature. It is good for storing recreational items on an everyday basis, and very good for locking up your personal items if you choose to rent this unit seasonally or loan it to friends and relatives. Everyone at Edgewater Village enjoys the camaraderie that is demonstrated at the nice clubhouse, the pool/tennis & pickle ball courts/boccie courts/shuffle-board courts, and the outdoor gathering/picnic areas. Nearby downtown Punta Gorda boasts many entertainments, restaurants, walking paths, etc. You can walk there from EWV if you are ambitious.
