Visión general

Spring Ridge subdivision is located a half mile south of the Santa Fe River and is 8 miles west of the town of High Springs. Along the river are popular parks for visitors to the area springs. Next door to Spring Ridge is Ginnie Springs, a private park famous among cave divers. Gilchrist Blue Springs State Park is 3 miles to the east, and Poe Springs County Park is just a half mile further. 5 miles from Spring Ridge is the State Route 47 bridge over the river where there's a boat launch area with picnic tables named Santa Fe Park. The Santa Fe is especially popular with kayakers and canoers. Spring Ridge S/D was created in the mid-1970's, and there are few remaining vacant lots. Deed restrictions require site-built homes only with a minimum of 1,000 square feet of living space. This parcel has 199 feet along the street and 283 feet going back up a gentle slope to the back, making it 1.29 acres. Many years ago a driveway was created with a culvert which leads to a mid-lot clearing. The driveway has some small trees easily cleared away, and the center clearing is open. There are no wet areas. It's "high and dry" the saying goes and is covered with oak trees and a few scattered tall pines. The home site is hidden by vegetation from view of the street and from neighboring homes. There is no HOA. There's a community picnic area with a baseball diamond. All the interior streets interconnect with 4 outlets to County Road 340 which leads east to High Springs and west to the Suwannee River at Rock Bluff where Rock Bluff Springs is open to the public as a county park.
