Spring Ridge subdivision is located a half mile south of the Santa Fe River and is 8 miles west of the town of High Springs. Along the river are popular parks for visitors to the area springs. Next door to Spring Ridge is Ginnie Springs, a private park famous among cave divers. Gilchrist Blue Springs State Park is 3 miles to the east, and Poe Springs County Park is just a half mile further. 5 miles from Spring Ridge is the State Route 47 bridge over the river where there's a boat launch area with picnic tables named Santa Fe Park.
