It is said that Mr. Rhodes was nicknamed “Good” because of the craftsmanship demonstrated in his work. As with many arcades erected during the time period, Rhodesbilt was influenced by Mediterranean architecture as seen in the decorative tile, curved parapet, and arched entrances. While efforts have been made to maintain the historic aspects of the building, it has seen recent upgrades including new electric, plumbing, high speed internet, HVAC, and the entire building is protected by a sprinkler system.
